Training is preparatory. Accreditation is evaluative.
What Training Provides
Training may include instruction in edge geometry, tool assessment, failure recognition, refusal doctrine, and documentation practices.
Training content may vary by context, region, tools, and application.
What Training Does Not Provide
Training does not authorize representation under the Standard.
Training does not override review outcomes.
Completion of training alone does not permit use of the Standard name or claims of compliance.
Training Providers
Training may be delivered by accredited training institutes or individual instructors operating under documented curricula.
Training providers are subject to governance review for misrepresentation or overreach.
Relationship to Life Sharpener
Life Sharpener represents a philosophy and methodology for disciplined craft development.
Life Sharpener training may be used as preparation for attempting work governed by the Standard, but it does not substitute for accreditation.
Global and Contextual Application
Training adapts to local tools, materials, infrastructure, and cultural context.
Outcome expectations remain unchanged.
Completion of training permits application for accreditation review.
Accreditation decisions are made independently.
