At Battle Born Blade Sharpening, we pride ourselves on precision and technical excellence. Our goal is to ensure every tool that leaves our lab performs at its peak potential. Because we provide both specialized services and professional-grade products, the following policies apply to ensure a fair and transparent experience.
Professional Sharpening Services
Service Satisfaction Guarantee
We do not offer cash refunds on sharpening services. However, we stand behind our technical process with a 7-Day Performance Guarantee. If your shears or clippers do not meet the performance standards described in our technical specs, we will re-service them at no additional cost.
Claim Window
Service claims must be initiated within 7 days of the delivery date. After this window, it is assumed the tools have been accepted as meeting professional standards.
Retail & Physical Products
30-Day Return Window
For physical goods (new shears, cases, accessories) purchased through our Shop, we offer a 30-day return policy. Items must be in their original, unused condition and include all original packaging and documentation.
Non-Returnable Items
To maintain hygiene and safety standards, the following items cannot be returned:
Tools that have been modified or sharpened by a third party.
Custom-ordered or engraved equipment.
Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance."
The Refund Process
Inspection & Approval
Once your returned product is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.
Restocking Fees
Returns on high-end shears may be subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover the cost of technical inspection and sterilization required to return the item to inventory.
Shipping Costs for Returns
Customers are responsible for paying for their own shipping costs for returning items. If you are receiving a re-service under our 7-day guarantee, Battle Born will cover the return shipping costs back to you.
