We sharpen, recondition and restore Utsumi, Hikari, Mizutani, Sensei, Hattori Hanzo, Jaguar, Jowell, Kamisori, Osaka, Green Mouse, Jentetsu, Above Shears & Fresh Shears. To the highest quality standard even out doing some certifed sharpeners. We are artisan sharpeners. Some shears are made in Japan, Made in Germany or Made in China.
Do you have a background in or have experience cutting hair?
Yes. We have done cosmotology school and training for cutting specifically. Well versed in Dry vs Wet , Blunt vs Slide / Slice cutting. We under the importance of point cutting and the elimination of pushing, pinching, pinching or folding inadequecies that are the signs of a shear needing work or work preformed inadeqtly. We have done traingin with Paul MItchel and Vidal Sasson.
